Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) is the computerisation of the processes of prescribing, pharmacy stock control and recording the administration of medicines.
Before you can be issued with access to the EPMA system, you must be trained in its use. This is undertaken via the eLearning packages below.
ALL STAFFTo complete a course, please click on the relevant package below. At the end of the course you will be asked to enter your Employee Number. If you do not know this number, it can be found on your payslip under the heading "Assignment Number".
If you do not have an ESR Assignment Number, then please enter your NMC, GMC, GDC, HCPC or GPhC Registration Number in FULL at the end of the course then immediately email that same number plus your professional registration number (if this was not what was entered), full name, job title, department or agency (if applicable), and contact details to EPMAPHT@uhd.nhs.uk
Failure to do this will result in a delay in your access to the system.
IMPORTANTYou MUST complete the whole of the selected course in one sitting, or it will be classed as uncompleted.
Failure to enter the correct number at the end of the course will also class your training as incomplete.
